Qualification for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
Qualification – 10+2 Pass with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as Major Subjects or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic & Aeronautical stream can apply.
Age – At the time of admission minimum age should be 16 years.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course Details
CATEGORY A1 – LINE MAINTENANCE
Civil Aviation is a highly regulated and respected industry controlled by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). To ensure the enviable safety standards that have been established, people working with Aircraft Maintenance Industry must be licensed. The DGCA regulates licensing and approval of active professionals. Category A1 license is a Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license covering Jet Engine Powered Aeroplanes. Category A1 licensed employees are authorized to issue ‘CRS’ (Certificate of Release to Service) to an Aircraft after minor scheduled line maintenance and simple defect rectification.
CATEGORY B1.1 – BASE MAINTENANCE
Category B1.1 Basic license includes all the certification of Category A1. The person becomes a full-fledged Aircraft Maintenance Engineer after attaining Type Rating for a particular Aircraft. He is authorized to cover maintenance, repair, rectification, or replacement of structure, engine, mechanical and hydraulic system.
