Scholarship Test Eligibility For 2021
- Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as their majors in 10+2. Board exams appearing as well as pass-out candidates may apply.
- The candidate who have completed their diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Aeronautical stream may also apply.
- Candidate age must not be less than 16 years of age by the time of admission in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course.
- Valid Aadhaar card.
Scholarships
Top meritorious students, who appear in the “Common Aptitude Examination” organized by the IIA Group shall be awarded scholarship on 1st Year Tuition Fee which will be valid collectively for both the organizations, Bharat Institute of Aeronautics, Patna, and JRN Institute of Aviation Technology, New Delhi.

For 10+2 (Duration 2 hours)
For Engineering Diploma Holders (Duration 1 hour)
Examination Schedule
- The scholarship exam will be conducted on 4th August 2021.
- The examination shall be organized on the same day at both locations.
- Duration of examination will be of 2 Hours for 10+2 students and 1 hour for Diploma holders.
Examination Fee 2021
The AME Entrance Examination Fee for IIA CAE 2021 is Rs. 1000/- for all students.
Mode of Payment
The examination fee has to be submitted On-Line through Credit/debit Card/ Net Banking while submitting the On-Line Application.

A. Syllabus for 10+2/ any higher qualification in science with Physics and Mathematics
| Nature of matter – chemical elements, the structure of atoms, States: Solid, Liquid, Gas, Forces, changes between states, Molecules, Chemical compound. Mechanics – Force, Moment, Couple, Vectors, Theory of elasticity, Pressure & Buoyancy, Linear circular & rotational movement, Theory of vibrations, Simple Harmonic Motion, Mechanical advantage, Force, Inertia, Work, Power, Heat, Efficiency, Mechanical advantage, Impulse momentum, Friction, Fluid Dynamics. Thermodynamics – Temperature, Heat Capacity, Specific Heat, Laws of thermodynamics. Optics (light) – Nature of light, Speed of light, Laws of reflection & refraction, Reflection at plane surfaces, reflection by spherical mirrors, refraction, lenses, fiber optics. Wave Motion and Sound – mechanical waves, Sinusoidal. wave motion, interference phenomena, standing waves Sound: Speed of sound, intensity, pitch and quality, Doppler effect. |

| Arithmetic – Arithmetic terms & Signs, methods of multiplication and division, fractions and decimals, factors and multiples, weights, measures, and conversion, factors, ratio, and proportion, averages, and percentages, areas and volumes, squares, cubes, square and cube roots. Algebra – Evaluating simple algebraic expressions, addition, subtraction, multiplication & division, use of brackets, simple algebraic fractions, linear equation, Indices and powers, negative and fractional indices, Binary and other applicable numbering systems, Simultaneous equations and second-degree equations with one unknown, Logarithms. Geometry – Simple geometrical constructions Graphical representation: nature and uses of graphs, graphs of equations/functions Simple trigonometry: trigonometrical relationships, use of tables and rectangular and polar coordinates. |

Center of Examination
The examination will be organized at approved training premises of JRN Institute of Aviation Technology Delhi and Bharat Institute of Aeronautics Patna.
Important Dates
Declaration of Result
The results of the COMMON APTITUDE EXAMINATION will be declared in the last week of August 2021. The successful candidates will be informed through an electronic mode of communication (phone & email). They will be given a time period for the submission of documents in original for validation and acceptance by the organization.
Meritorious candidates, who secure top ranks will be eligible for the grant of scholarship as per the COMMON APTITUDE EXAMINATION policy mentioned above.
